Budva used to be a small, quiet coastal town but today, Budva is the main place of Montenegrin tourism and definitely, the most packed town at the Montenegrin coast during the summer.
Two and a half millennia old town became the place with many modern hotels and new buildings, luxurious yachts, high class restaurants, bars, and nightclubs where amazing fun awaits. Budva has its own Hawaii island opposing the city along with the beautiful beaches, ice cold refreshments and seafood specialties. In the evenings on the promenade along the beach near Old Town Budva, you will be enchanted by the music and good energy that comes from the cafes and the scent of the sea mixed with the aroma of delicious seafood and continental specialties, as well as the beams of light from the disco that stroll through the sky.
Budva is one big light show! Budva seems to lead a double life – one in the old, and the other in the new part of the city. Bordered by the high ramparts and decorated with the architecture, dominantly Venetian, the Old Town guards historical and cultural treasures – Roman necropolis and an altar, antique pylons, pre-Christian basilica and many churches.
